Welcome to Mewsic. By downloading, installing, or using the Mewsic application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.
1. License
Mewsic is open-source software licensed under the GPL v3.0. You may use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the terms of the General Public License version 3.0. A copy of the license is available in the application's source code repository.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Mewsic for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the service. Mewsic is intended for personal, non-commercial use as an offline music player. You are solely responsible for the content you play and manage through the application.
3. Privacy and Data
Mewsic respects your privacy. As an offline music player, Mewsic processes your local audio files directly on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal listening data on external servers. For optional integrations or plugins, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
4. Plugins and Third-Party Content
Mewsic supports third-party plugins via its Plugin API. We are not responsible for the functionality, security, or content of any third-party plugins you choose to install. Use them at your own risk.
5. Health, Mental State, and Hearing Safety
Mewsic includes features that allow you to modify audio playback, including volume levels, equalizer settings, and bass boost. Listening to audio at high volumes or using extreme audio boost settings for extended periods can cause permanent hearing damage. Additionally, certain audio frequencies or extended listening sessions may affect your mental state. You agree that you are solely responsible for your hearing health, mental state, and audio safety. The developers and contributors of Mewsic are not liable for any hearing loss, impairment, mental distress, or other physical or psychological harm resulting from your use of this application or its audio enhancement features.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free or uninterrupted. Your use of the application is at your sole risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developers or contributors of Mewsic be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the application or with the delay or inability to use the application.
